As an Aftermarket Product Operations Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive analytical support for managing the parts cycle plan, including forecasting and performance tracking.
- Conducting data-driven evaluations of market suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing to identify optimal solutions and business models that enhance profitability.
- Analyzing sales performance and market penetration data, identifying trends and opportunities to meet sales objectives and drive market share.
- Supporting the project management of product launches by providing critical data, insights, and tracking for the RACI matrix across all new product introductions.
- Developing data-driven inputs for pricing strategies based on comprehensive market evaluations to maximize revenue and margin.
- Performing comprehensive post-launch analysis to evaluate product performance, identify areas for optimization, and assess financial impact.
- Collaborating with and providing essential analytical support to various support functions, including PS&L (Parts Supply & Logistics), SEO (Service Engineering Operations), Manufacturing, and Finance, to ensure the successful delivery of product objectives and financial goals.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
New Product Introduction: Support Provide data-driven insights to support the business case development for new product introductions. Analyze potential market size, forecast demand, assess competitive landscape, and track post-launch performance to ensure successful category expansion.
Category Optimization: Collaborate with the Product Category Managers to identify opportunities for SKU rationalization, brand selection optimization, and channel-specific product strategies based on performance data and market insights.
Forecasting & Modeling: Support demand forecasting activities by analyzing historical data, market trends, and promotional impacts. Develop analytical models to predict future performance, evaluate the ROI of various initiatives, and assess potential risks.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Engineering to gather necessary data, validate findings, and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek out and recommend improvements for data collection, analysis methodologies, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
You'll have...
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or product analysis role, preferably within the automotive aftermarket, retail, manufacturing, or a product-centric industry.
- Analytical Prowess: Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. You should be able to see the story the data is telling.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modeling.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaboration: A team player who can build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

This position is a salary grade 8.
