In this position...

The Aftertreatment Systems Team within Ford Vehicle Propulsion Systems Engineering is seeking a test analyst to procure, commission, and maintain powertrain rigs and protype emissions systems to support robust and cost-effective systems to meet future internal combustion engine emissions standards.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

• Work with exhaust metalwork, catalyst internals, and emissions calibration engineers to define aftertreatment designs to meet future emissions standards.
• Interface with protype exhaust fabricators to develop experimental designs.
• Procure and component necessary to assemble prototype aftertreatment and powertrain system.
• Oversee assembly and commissioning of powertrain and aftertreatment system aligned with test schedule.
• Develop and maintain documentation of test rig components.
• Onsite support of powertrain and aftertreatment rigs while on test.

Qualifications

You'll have...

• BS or equivalent work experience.
• Good PC computer skillset including sharepoint, MS Excel and MSWord skills.
• Good collaboration skillset.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.
