As a BOM Engineer Ford Champ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completeness and quality of our Bill of Materials (BOM) in support of Ford's critical Change Management Process and Configured Digital Vehicles. You will collaborate closely with various teams to track and analyze the impact of Material Cost, Weight, and Investment adjustments throughout the change management lifecycle - from early program stages through to final program approval. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring that the design intent is accurately and intelligently represented in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, such as Teamcenter Engineering (TcE), driving alignment across all digital representations.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Data Analysis & Digital Transformation: Identifying and supporting AI-driven projects, analyzing complex data, and visualizing insights to enhance BOM Operations processes and digital representation.
• BOM Management & Alignment: Ensuring timely alignment of Bill of Materials (BOM) with financial and product requirements, managing Cost, Weight, and Investment (CWI) changes, and maintaining system consistency.
• Program Support & Issue Resolution: Managing program roadmaps, risks, and CWI tracking/reporting, leading change control meetings, and driving the resolution of issues identified in digital prototypes.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5, V6, 3DX, NX).
• Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems (e.g., Teamcenter Engineering/3DX).
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including macros and VBA coding.
