The Compass Call program is at the forefront of transforming electronic warfare for military aircraft and is seeking a Section Lead to join our Software Engineering organization. In this growth position you'll have the unique opportunity to build on your technical foundation while stepping into leadership - enhancing your skills as both an engineer and a leader in one of the most strategic programs in the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) portfolio.
What You Will Do

• Lead a small team of software engineers while gaining experience in mentoring, career development, and performance discussions.
• Conduct regular team and one-on-one meetings to foster collaboration, communication, and growth.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding efforts to support the growth of a high-performing team.
• Contribute your technical expertise is software design, implementation, and sustainment of mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with functional managers and program leads to ensure program success.

This role offers the chance to develop your leadership toolkit while continuing to work hands-on with advanced technologies that shape the future of electronic warfare.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role/program, the expectation is that this job will be performed fully on site in Hudson, NH.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Secret Security Clearance (active within the past two years)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with some exposure to leadership activities such as mentoring, team coordination, or project ownership
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communicate effectively
• Deep knowledge in one or more of the following languages C++, C, C#, Java
• Hands-on experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with software and systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Embedded software design and implementation
• Experience with electronic warfare, radar, or communication systems
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite
• Cost Account Management/Earned Value Management in a DoD environment

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
