Description
Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a contract responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and delivering solutions for a government customer.
The successful candidate will act as the overall Program Manager for a large single award IDIQ contract effort. In this capacity they shall direct efforts of cross-competency teams spread across multiple efforts to include vehicle, land, transit case, and Aviation based efforts. The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison and POC with Government representatives on technical and project issues.
The ideal Program Manager should possess a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and an ability to adapt to emerging and dynamic requirements. A quality candidate should also have a strong desire to be highly involved in advancing the growth of the program through competitive task order awards.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Expected award date is summer 2026.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical, business management, or related field and at least 12 years of related experience OR
Master's degree in engineering, technical, business management, or related field and at least 10 years of experience managing large complex projects with multiple projects
Experience in military or other DoD environment (e.g. project management, engineering, computer science, etc.)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
