About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian Publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.
Important Details
- Interviews for this opening will start in December 2025.
- Internships will start in May 2026, and generally go through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly range for this position is $17 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, on-site.
Distribution Logistics Intern
We are seeking a Distribution Logistics Intern who is highly motivated and passionate for getting life-changing biblical content into the hands of people around the world.
This opportunity is ideal for a problem solver with a great technical aptitude who is willing to use their analytical and innovative thinking skills to make an impact throughout our Distribution systems. If you have a knack for analyzing data, engaging in process improvement initiatives, and supporting various teams through problem solving, this may be the role for you.
The ideal candidate will gain hands on experience on the full cycle of inventory management, warehousing and transportation while supporting the development and implementation of effective logistic strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall distribution efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Product data management: ensure the integrity of items data throughout our products databases and platforms and communicate changes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Inventory demand planning: analyze inventory data, monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with distribution centers to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize delays in the release and processing of sales orders.
- Order fulfillment: review open orders and timely release pick tickets to the floor for processing utilizing our order allocation process and according to customer requirements.
- Process improvement: analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend logistics strategies that align with operational objectives to optimize distribution processes and improve delivery performance.
- Shipping automation: research and make recommendations for order fulfillment automation that integrate picking, packing and shipping to maximize efficiency, reduce cost, and increase fulfillment outputs for parcel orders.
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps, trends and develop solutions.
- Technical and process improvement aptitude with knowledge or exposure to logistics and WMS software.
- Good organizational and communication skills with ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, and industrial engineering.
- Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith.
