Description
Job Descriptiona BMS algorithm engineer who is passionate about electric vehicles and battery technology. he has deep understand on battery characteristics and development experience on battery algorithm, e.g. SOC, SOH, cell balance, power control...
the following points are preferred
- experiences in BMS algorithm development at OEM, Tier1, or battery companies.
- familiar with autosar architecture and model based development.
Responsibilities
responsible for
- algorithm development and optimization, including SOC, SOH, cell balance, power limit
- create and build high precise battery model to predict battery behavior,
- implement corresponding algorithm into BECM controller, complete and support software test, HIL test and corresponding battery calibration.
- develop battery fault detection and diagnosis algorithm, and support to create and optimize battery test.
- complete related design documents.
Qualifications
bachelor degree or above in engineering.
at least 3 years of experience in BMS algorithm development, mass production project experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in the principles and architecture of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery characteristics, equivalent circuit models, and electrochemical models.
- Proficient in the theoretical foundations and implementation methods of battery state estimation algorithms (SOCSOC, SOHSOH, SOPSOP), such as Kalman filters (EKF/UKF) and adaptive filters.
- Skilled in using MATLAB/Simulink for model building, simulation, and algorithm development.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics development processes (e.g., V-model development) and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 26262 functional safety) is preferred.
- Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong learning ability and continuous innovation spirit.
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
- Good English reading and writing skills, capable of reviewing English technical documentation.
