Job DescriptionAt BAE Systems, we meet our customer's needs through the entire lifecycle of our Electronic Warfare (EW) products. From design and development to prototype and full rate production, to post-delivery product support, we deliver EW capability and readiness spanning the platform's entire operational service life.
Our F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Sustainment team is seeking a Program Manager to support our Fleet-Readiness Integrated Program Team (IPT). This position will report directly to the F-35 Fleet Readiness Director and support various projects within the IPT, with the primary focus on supporting transactional repairs, in addition this role will also support system HW/SW Modifications and Master Repair Agreement efforts. There may be an opportunity for a hybrid schedule in the future, but for the foreseeable future this will be a full-time, onsite role based in Merrimack, NH (MER24 and MNH25).
As a Fleet Readiness PM, you will be leading a team focused on delivering EW system availability and affordability across the entire worldwide fleet of 1,000+ aircraft by optimizing fleet demands and driving efficient and effective returns and repairs in our Merrimack, NH sustainment center and with our government partners at the depot in Robins AFB, GA.
This is a dynamic program management opportunity to support major cornerstone program in the portfolio. Important elements for this position include: performance based / outcome based decisions; product sustainment principles; customer engagement; senior leader engagement; delivery on customer commitments; leading a geographically dispersed team; being a key member of the F-35 Fleet Readiness leadership team.
Sustainment and Repair management experience is highly desired but not required.
In this job, you will:
- Plan, coordinate and manage F-35 sustainment efforts.
- Prepare and/or review project execution plans and other documentation.
- Be intimately involved in budget/financial planning and reporting.
- Develop customer relationships with regular communication.
- Drive program/contract success by delivering on our commitments in accordance with the expected behaviors, processes and guidance
- Actively promote a culture of inclusivity, safety, health, and personal well-being for the program team.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Demonstrated program/project management skills or equivalent
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Proposal experience within BAE Systems
- 8 years of development life cycle experience in DoD programs
- Cost Account Experience
- Team Leadership Experience
- Experience interfacing and briefing customer and upper management
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Familiarity with electronic warfare systems sustainment, depot repair and performance based logistics contracts
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Demonstrated Life-Cycle Management and Risk & Opportunity Management
- Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammates
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and lead teams
- Active Top Secret Clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
