Job DescriptionFord Business Solutions is looking for a
Sales Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our
Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) Europe in our Szentendre office.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Planning & Analysis Specialist to report our Parts and Accessories wholesale revenue across Europe. This unique position combines reporting and analysis with critical IT process investigation and development, allowing you to support strategic decision-making and enhance our core business systems.
Responsibilities
Strategic Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis:
- Generate Critical Insights: Lead the Wholesale Sell-Out Reporting, utilizing advanced Excel and PowerQuery skills to provide crucial performance updates.
- Collaborate & Consolidate: Coordinate and integrate input from National Sales Companies for key wholesale reports, ensuring comprehensive data collection
- Disseminate Information: Regularly publish and maintain essential wholesale-related reports on our SharePoint platform, making vital data accessible across the organization.
- Drive Profitability: Contribute to Yield Management initiatives by preparing detailed quarterly reports on selected Wholesale Partners, identifying opportunities for revenue optimization.
- Shape FoE Business Strategy: Participate in developing, coordinating, and publishing the FCSD-E Marketing Business Plan by segment, working closely with Finance, Regional Offices, and Business Units.
- Ensure Alignment: Facilitate the alignment of planning assumptions with senior management, NSCs, and finance teams, ensuring a unified approach to revenue strategy.
- Innovate Reporting Solutions: Proactively develop and implement new reporting tools and dashboards that empower Senior Management and Business Units with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Data Integrity & System Ownership:
- Master Data Steward: Support the ownership of the Global Internal Business Information Source (IBIS), ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy, seamless system feeds, and robust performance reliability.
- Identify & Resolve Gaps: Proactively identify and address functional gaps within our reporting and analysis programs, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead System Enhancements: Drive the development of clear business specifications for new functionalities and system improvements, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Oversee Implementation: Monitor the development of functional specifications and oversee the implementation phases, ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Lead User Acceptance Tests (UATs) to sign-off on new features and maintain stringent access control procedures to safeguard critical data.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics/Business
- 1-2 years' experience in database management, data interpretation
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
- Well-developed IT skills - Advanced end-user applications skills in MS Excel
- Foundational knowledge of PowerQuery and SQL
- Ability to proactively progress an issue, develop options and recommendations and see through to resolution
- Ability to explain complex processes and reports
- System approach interpreting data transfer process across multiple systems
Advantages:
- +3 years' experience in database management, data interpretation
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Advanced skills in PowerQuery, SQL
- VBA, PowerBI skills
