In a pivotal and multifaceted role, will be combining technical leadership, quality assurance, strategic planning, and program management.
- Leading or contributing to the design, development, and integration of ICE propulsion systems.
- Providing expert knowledge and technical leadership in Front-End Accessory Drive (FEAD) systems.
- Applying a strong engineering foundation
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Provide Technical Leadership and Mentorship: By leading a "tech club," will foster technical development, knowledge sharing, and innovation within a team or group.
- Manage and Maintain Core Quality Standards: Will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of critical quality documents, including design rules, requirements, and checklists, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively utilized across projects.
- Drive Strategic Sourcing Decisions: Will influence and guide the company's sourcing strategy, likely through the development and execution of commodity business plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee Program Delivery and Milestones: Will actively monitor and review the progress of programs against established milestones, ensuring that all delivery requirements are met. This includes resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the program lifecycle.
- Ensure Program Completion and Issue Resolution: A key part of the role involves resolving and gaining alignment on the completion of all program delivery requirements. Furthermore, will be responsible for closing out "Prevent Recurrence Actions," indicating a focus on continuous improvement and addressing root causes of past issues to avoid future occurrences.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related degree
- 10 years of experience in ICE propulsion engineering
- 6 years of experience with Front-End Accessory Drive engineering

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
