Description
Coordinate with multiple teams of Engineering, Quality and Logistics for Tractors. Prepare Bill of Material List, Create Work Instructions / SOP. Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process. Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making. Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency. Process Manufacturing Change Orders, maintain and update all process data relevant to SOS, SOPs, Line balance scenarios. Develop station by station layout and establish part presentation for each operation. Conduct ergonomic analysis on each operation, identity and analyze ergonomic risks and identify counter measures. Organize and manage project tasks and schedules. Conduct Time Studies and Line Balancing and Plan for Material Delivery. Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants. Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully. Responsible for Lean Manufacturing Implementation. Validate the quality of deliverables. Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams. Prepare and present weekly project status to customer. Develop and maintain technical documentation and project reports.
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with 24 months of experience required, foreign equivalent accepted, 40hrs a week. Employee might have to travel on short term (maximum 07-10 days at a time) to attend meetings for project requirements with client companies in other states in the USA, only when required.
