The Innovation Engineering Ford Champ, will allow you to learn the operational backbone of an innovation team, assisting with administrative functions, supporting daily workflows, and contributing directly to the success of groundbreaking projects.

Ford Motor Company de Mexico's Innovation Engineering department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Champ to provide essential administrative support to our team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our department, learning about project management, resource coordination, and internal communications within a fast-paced, creative environment. This role is ideal for an individual eager to develop their administrative and organizational skills while gaining exposure to the exciting world of engineering innovation at Ford.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Makerspace Operations Support: Assist with the day-to-day management of our Makerspace, including inventory tracking, scheduling equipment usage, and maintaining organized records of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Project Documentation & Administration: Support various innovation projects by assisting with documentation, accurate data entry, organizing files, and preparing presentations for team meetings and stakeholders.
• Meeting & Event Coordination: Learn to coordinate and prepare materials for important meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
• Internal Communication Facilitation: Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications, responding to general inquiries, and ensuring timely information flow within the department.
• Vendor Relationship Support: Learn basic vendor management processes by assisting with communication and administrative tasks related to external partners and suppliers.
• Data Collection & Reporting Assistance: Support the collection and organization of data for various reports and analyses, which may include basic data entry, validation, and cleaning.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Business Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
