Description
Job Description• Support the assembly and machining controls engineering deliverables for PTO and VO programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global PTO sites.
• Implement and apply standard software and hardware controls architectures across all programs/plants, following the VO and PTO controls specification.
• Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.
• Support simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate controls program reviews with all interested parties.
• Participate in management program reviews and represent the controls organization in commodity discussions.
• Drive the controls organization to resolve issues, including feasibility, timing, cost and workload.
• Handle program deliveries and responsibilities.
• Deliver new model program work for various Final Assembly & Powertrain programs supporting and working in either SE MI, Ohio, Kentucky.
• Travel up to 80% during peak program times.
• Work off shift, as the need arises, during peak program install and launch times.
• Support plant shutdown activities for retooled and new equipment

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree - pursuing and received by or before May 2025 •
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment •
- Direct program experience with assembly and machining controls architectures (hardware/software)

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.
