Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Material Handler to join its organization.

In this role you will:

• Handle receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse
• Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site
• Performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving
• Open containers using hand tools: counts, weighs and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information
• Operate a forklift
• Follows department's material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner
• Verify quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation
• Work with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals
• Work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient Forklift Operator
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing
• Strong communication skills
• Inventory Control Experience
• Must be able to work with a team
• Availability to work overtime
• Organizational skills
• Ability to physically lift objects up to 35 pounds
• A strong work ethic
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Cycle count and inventory investigations experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Time management skills
• Ability to work alone or as a team
• Experience with Oracle or similar system
• Computer skills
• Shipping and receiving material handler experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $37295 - $59672

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
