• Oversee and manage all aspects of government contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies for government contracts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute contract strategies that align with company objectives.
• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on contract matters, including training and mentoring.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor contract performance and identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
• Participate in proposal development and review to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Advise and assist in the resolution of contract disputes or issues.
• Stay current on industry and government contract regulations and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with government agencies and other contractors.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment for contracts.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide contract policies and procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant Contract Management experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Advanced knowledge of DoD contracting
• Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR
• Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers;
• Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents - Microsoft Office
• Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
• Detail oriented.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Advanced Degree MBA
• Professional Contracts Certifications: CFCM, CPCM, DAWIA etc.
• Experience supporting ship repair or other industrial activities

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $90373 - $153634

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
