The BAE Systems Navigation and Sensor Systems (NSS) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of our next generation of GPS/GNSS receivers. The successful candidate will act as the overall Program Manager for the program and will direct the efforts of cross-competency teams. The Program Manager will also serve as the primary liaison and POC with Government representatives on technical and project issues. The ideal Program Manager should have a strong understanding of GPS/GNSS receivers, possess a strategic mindset, have strong leadership skills, and be able to adapt to emerging and dynamic requirements.

In this job, you will:

• Direct all phases of program execution and performance
• Manage program cost, schedule, and technical objectives
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, manufacturing, and administrative staff
• Serve as the primary interface with the customer, leading program reviews, and resolving complex issues
• Establish and manage program milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
• Use earned value management principles
• Drive new business opportunities and support proposal development
• Support contract negotiations, changes, and execution of all program terms and deliverables
• Possess 7+ years' experience of managing projects as a Program Manager or Project Engineering Manager
• Manage Integrated Master Schedules, project budget management, and deliverables
• Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
• Possess strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status
• Have knowledge of software development and requirements management
• Possess working knowledge of GPS/GNSS receivers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Current security clearance or capable of obtaining a security clearance
• Project Management or Project Engineering Management experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
