We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Systems Administrator to join our visible technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. This program delivers engineering services for Linux and Windows cloud-based infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows. Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support at Tiers 1 & 2 for AWS cloud-based enterprise system
- Use ServiceNow as the ticket management system
- Provide support for the cloud infrastructure and customer applications (Microsoft Project SharePoint applications, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Riskonnect, and Tableau, among others)
- Troubleshoot and support Windows and Linux-based server and applications on AWS cloud
- Perform monthly system/application patching
- Creation and updates of technical documentation
- Solid understanding of working in ServiceNow as a system admin
- Preparation, installation, and maintenance of system components
- Working with IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resources
- Work effectively in a group environment
- Maintain complex modern cloud architectures
- Support Tier 3 and Tier 4 personnel as needed
- Create and deliver briefings to customer at various levels
- Ensure system and applications are compliant with customer system security requirements and processes
- Identify, create, and document process automation
- Work in alignment with Agile methodology
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verbally
- Instill and apply solid engineering rigor, to include configuration management, testing

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
We are actively seeking candidates that have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Bachelor's or master's degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following:
- At a minimum, meet DOD 8570 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
- Troubleshooting and administrative support at Tiers 1 & 2 for AWS cloud-based enterprise system such as Microsoft Project SharePoint applications, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Riskonnect, Tableau, and digital modeling applications
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cloud administrator must have significant knowledge and background in solutioning complex AWS infrastructures
- Solid troubleshooting and solutioning skills
- Familiarity with customer system security requirements and processes
- Solid administrative/engineering rigor
- System verification and validation
- Preparation and maintenance of system components
- Creation and updates of technical and process documentation
- AWS Cloud experience
- Familiarity with reviewing and responding to system alerts from visualization applications such as Grafana
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and services to include AD and LDAP
- Responsible for monthly system/application patching
- Creation and updates of technical documentation
- Solid understanding of working in ServiceNow as a system admin
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains
- Other Cloud experience (Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
- Cloud architectures and services
- Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
