Job DescriptionFord Business Solutions is looking for a
Senior Finance Analyst - Depreciation & Amortization (D&A)
to join our Product Development Finance team in our Szentendre office.
As a Financial Analyst in our global FP&A team, you'll play a key role in forecasting, monitoring, and reporting Depreciation & Amortization (D&A) across multiple regions for our Model E Segment. You'll collaborate closely with teams in Property Accounting, Capital Spending, Product Development, and Corporate Profit Analysis to ensure accurate financial planning and insightful analysis.
Responsibilities
What will be your roles and responsibilities in this role?
- Ownership of D&A Calculations: Prepare and maintain D&A forecasts, budgets, and actuals for the Model E Segment across multiple regions.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver standard and ad-hoc financial reports to both regional and corporate stakeholders. Translate numbers into meaningful business insights.
- Variance Analysis: Identify and explain variances and changes in D&A figures. Allocate costs across regions and segments with clear, fact-based justifications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from different business units to stay up-to-date on changes in practices, physical assets, and financial assumptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of global D&A processes and proactively suggest improvements or innovations.
- Support & Mentorship: Provide backup to other team members as needed and support onboarding or mentoring of junior colleagues.
Note: This is an analysis-focused role. You will not be responsible for posting accounting entries.
Qualifications
Are we looking for you? Yes, if you...
- Have a University or College degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field) and 3+ years' experience in the Finance field
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Possess strong analytical skills and are passionate about understanding what's behind the numbers
- Have advanced Excel skills and solid experience with MS Office
- Enjoy working independently, managing your time, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Are a natural problem-solver who brings solutions, not just identifies problems
- Communicate clearly and enjoy building solid business relationships
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and detail-oriented environment
Not required, but a big plus:
- Experience working in FP&A or financial analysis in a multinational environment
- Exposure to ERP or financial system implementations
- Familiarity with Alteryx or similar data analytics tool
