Job DescriptionDevelop, Deploy and Monitor Plant/Site wise 6 Sigma objectives
- Further improve the Six Sigma culture at IMG region
- Ensure Standardization ; Training, Projects Closure and Metric reporting & Automation knowledge for developing innovation projects
- Facilitate the horizontal deployment of 6 Sigma key projects across the region
Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead for 6 sigma IMG Manufacturing operations
- Drive utilization of 6 Sigma towards process excellence to achieve business objectives as per SQDCPMEL
- Represent IMG 6-Sigma at Global Current Model Quality Alignment, 6-Sigma and Steering Team meetings
- SME assistance to various locations with respect to Six Sigma process, technical inputs including DMAIC tools application.
- Manage the deployment of 6-Sigma in IMG region along with respective Deployment Directors
- Plan 6 Sigma BB and MBB trainings
- Mentor Mega Black Belt Projects
- Support the 6 Sigma Certification
- Support Plant and Skill team MBBs, as required, in GB/BB Projects review
- Facilitate GB/BB/Project Champion trainings
- Organize and Mentor BB Exam, as required
- Ensure MBB availability at respective locations
- Lead IMG 6-Sigma governance process
- Organize and teach Black Belt and Green Belt courses for the plant to support training needs
- Ensure 6 Sigma understanding in the Plant by training the 100% of GSR personnel and Team Leaders as Green Belts
- Coordinate and prepare Black Belt candidates on the certification process.
- Coach and mentor Black Belts to use 6 Sigma tools properly and to complete projects
- Ensure that 6 Sigma projects focus on internal and external indicators priorities that are Plant controllable
- Promote the 6 Sigma use and alignment with Plant main Suppliers
- Provide liaison within and between other business unit locations on best practices and 6 Sigma knowledge
- Run 6 Sigma 'Kaizen' projects to support the resolution of significant issues
- Use transactional 6 Sigma approach for improving the business in all areas of the Production System
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Master Black Belt L1 ( Preferable MBB L2)/ Black Belt certified with 4 projects completed.
- Manufacturing operation experience (Prefer)
- Data Analytics skill - Preferably - Power BI, Aletryx, Microsoft Office & Macro - VBA
- Ability to lead and coach IMG plant team in 6-Sigma
- Experience in 6-Sigma field (3 years min)
- Excellent co-ordination and communication skills in English
- Preferred Minitab usage for Statistical Analysis
- Global perspective, cultural awareness & sensitivity
- Manufacturing or engineering experience will be helpful
- Ability to travel regionally and globally
- Computer system skills (windows, office, web)
- Data Analytics skill
