- The Industrial Electrician in the Skilled Trades is tasked with the setup, fitting, upkeep, and routine servicing of intricate electrical systems and equipment, along with their associated circuits. This role demands expertise in diagnosing electrical issues and providing technical support for control systems.
- Key responsibilities include maintaining and repairing a wide range of electrical equipment.
- The electrician will analyze and resolve electrical failures within equipment and its related parts. Swift and accurate identification and correction of these problems is crucial to minimize disruptions to production.
- The electrician must be able to understand and interpret technical documents such as electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
- Learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.

Qualifications
You'll have at least one of the following:
- Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship OR
- A combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade OR
- 8 years of applicable experience
Even better if you have one of more of the following:
- Proficiency in reading hardware and ladder logic prints
- Troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems and equipment (e.g. Fanuc. ABB, Kawasaki)
- Working knowledge with PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Control Logix)
- Knowledge of servo controls
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives
