Description
Job DescriptionWe are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves and build a better world -- together. At Ford, we're all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to change the way the world moves?
In this position...
Ford Motor Company is seeking a versatile Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll help shape and amplify Ford's voice across digital platforms, build engaged online communities, and support broader marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and loyalty.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute social media campaigns that support Ford's brand and business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities-posting content, moderating comments, and engaging with followers-across channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and timely delivery of content.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key online partners and digital communities to expand Ford's reach and engagement.
- Collaborate on virtual and in-person events, sponsorships, and promotions, leveraging social channels to maximize impact.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics; use insights to optimize content, timing, and community-building strategies.
- Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Ford at the forefront of digital engagement.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community engagement
- Solid understanding of major social platforms, analytics tools, and content-management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for compelling storytelling
- Project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic mindset with a passion for building authentic online communities
Even better, you may have...
- Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community engagement
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
- Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
- Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
- Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
- Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
- Tuition assistance
- Established and active employee resource groups
- Paid time off for individual and team community service
- A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
- Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
