As part of our Manufacturing team, you'll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we're constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.
This is a union-represented salaried position.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Manage hourly workforce responsible for all warehousing operations: Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
- Responsible for delivering objectives related to Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Absenteeism, Cost and Cleanliness.
- Interact with other salary employees, and suppliers to deliver successful results.
- Carry out Company practice/policy in the areas of work standards, discipline, training, and personnel administration.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with employees and Leadership, including fair and equal administration of the contract
- Facilitate crew meetings.
- Prepare/maintain work related records as needed.
- Develop daily RTO to ensure proper utilization of manpower (including any overtime and vacation)
- Lead CIP, Safety, Ergo teams.
- Actively participate in all Continuous Improvement Process Teams
This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.
Current operational hours are 24 Hours A Day
Qualifications
You'll have...
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-year leadership experience.
- Minimum 1-year work experience in similar positions.
- Hard working and willing to learn
- Positive attitude with a focus on problem solving
- Strong organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees
- Ability to motivate and lead others around a common goal
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to resolving issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions.
- Goal oriented individual.
- Strong analytical skills (preferred)
