As an Supply Chain Ford Champ - Underbody (Brake Systems), you will be at the heart of the team that sources the thousands of components that go into our legendary vehicles. You will provide critical day-to-day support to our experienced Buyers, contributing directly to projects that impact cost, quality, and supply chain resilience. This role is designed for a high-potential individual who is eager to learn the fundamentals of strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management, and is on track to graduate within one year.
Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Provide essential analytical and sourcing support, preparing sourcing packages, analyzing supplier quotations, and creating presentations for key recommendations.
- Facilitate seamless supplier collaboration by acting as a point of contact for follow-ups and assisting with operational issue resolution.
- Contribute to process and system management, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing commodity metrics, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
- Develope critical skills in strategic sourcing, negotiation fundamentals, global supply chain complexities, professional communication, and data analysis.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experienced on Analytics, AI and Programming Softwares such as: LLM's, Power BI, QlikSense, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, RStudio, Minitab, Phyton.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a strong desire to learn and take initiative.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
