Description
Job DescriptionWe are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves and build a better world -- together. At Ford, we're all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to change the way the world moves?
Ford's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with delivering the company's vision of a fully electric transportation future. EVDD is customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial, and data-driven and is dedicated to delivering industry-leading customer experience for electric vehicle buyers and owners. You'll join an agile team of doers pioneering our EV future by working collaboratively, staying focused on only what matters, and delivering excellence day in and day out. Join us to make positive change by helping build a better world where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams.
In this position...
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a tech explosion in the automotive industry and make a huge impact on our growing team. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and highly-motivated Talent Specialist to help deliver an amazing candidate experience. This person will partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers to ensure a seamless hiring process. If you're hungry to learn and eager to take on this exciting role, we want to hear from you! This opportunity has a lot of room for growth and has the potential to lead into other positions within the Recruiting Team.
This is a 12-month contract position.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to coordinate and schedule interviews
Work with complex and shifting calendars across multiple time zones and facilitate any schedule changes
Collaborate with other recruiting coordinators on best practices to streamline scheduling processes
Help expand our University Program and assist with high-volume scheduling during each recruitment term
Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs, ensuring alignment between job descriptions, and target candidate profiles
Help to identify and improve current processes to optimize workflows and make operations seamless
Support the recruiting team with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelor's or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
1+ years of experience in a Recruiting Coordinator or similar role
4+ years of overall work experience
Experience working with applicant tracking systems
Even better, you may have...
Self-motivated and driven: you look for solutions and impact without being asked twice
You are curious. You look to dig deeper beyond the surface level of a job profile; researching market trends and domain technology and seeking out information to have a solid understanding of the business. You ask for feedback, and want to grow and develop in your career.
Problem solver: you think through problems and come up with innovative solutions and deliver them against tight deadlines
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
• Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
• Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
• Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
• Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
• Tuition assistance
• Established and active employee resource groups
• Paid time off for individual and team community service
• A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
