Description
Job Description- Perform regular equipment setups, program loads, and SMT troubleshooting and make adjustments to meet production requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors, placement defects, and hardware/software issues.
- Monitor machine performance and proactively identify issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on all SMT lines, Trolley's and relevant equipment needed to keep SMT production running.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, leadership and production teams to ensure optimal process performance.
- Maintain documentation and records of machine settings, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Training of new operators and building operators skills and knowledge on SMT and related operations.
- strong communication amongst team to keep optimal production time, detailed information collection for incoming shifts / process owners.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with SMT experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with running an SMT line are highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, machine manuals, and schematics.
- Proficiency with computer-based machine controls and basic data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics,
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion tasks.
- Handle multiple lines operating at a time to keep production going and on schedule
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
