Company History
5 decades of growth.
In 1965, Hans Unger, John Radhal, Frank Hansen founded the business that would become Continental Disc Corporation.
In the decades since, the original team of 12 has grown to more than 300 employees in our 96,000 square foot worldwide corporate headquarters – and in dozens of other offices across the globe.
In 50 years, we’ve:
Expanded our core company
Acquired a product line
Acquired a business division
Acquired two corporations
Our catalog of products has grown from two rupture discs to more than 30 discs and related support products, plus hose valves, tank vents, flame arrestors, pilot-operated valves and gas blanket regulator lines.
We believe that kind of growth doesn’t come from business acumen alone.
It comes from a hard-earned reputation for manufacturing high-caliber custom products and flawless customer support.
