Company History
Cook Medical has etched a permanent, historical, and influential mark in the field of minimally invasive medicine. In 1963, Cook was simply a home-based business where Bill and Gayle Cook, founders of Cook, manufactured the first US-produced percutaneous wire guides and catheters. Since then, Cook has evolved into a thriving, global medical technology company. We now provide minimally invasive medical devices and technologies for nearly every area of the modern hospital, supporting almost 60 clinical specialties.
