Deutsche Bank is a leading provider of financial services to agencies, corporations, governments, private individuals and institutions in the Americas. Having first established a presence in the Americas in the 19th century, the Bank began independent operations in the US in 1978, opening its first North American branch in New York City. Today, the regional headquarters is at 60 Wall Street.

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition

18,000 employees volunteered in 2019 giving 160,000 hours of time

- Born to Be education projects gave 55,000 hours of volunteer support to help young people develop their education. We have helped 4.7m since 2014 and aim to touch 5m young peoples’ lives by 2020.

- In 2019, the Made for Good program, Deutsche Bank worked with pioneering social enterprises that had an impact on 940,000 people. This program has enabled 19,200 social enterprises and charities since 2016.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, colleagues in more than 30 countries joined our relief campaign for food & shelter charities that provided over 2.5 million euros to help the most vulnerable members of our communities.

In the year that marks our 150th anniversary, we are asking employees to spend at least 150 minutes of their working time - ideally longer - volunteering for a specific social initiative.
